This fee calculator is provided by the TPTA to assist you in determining your Maximum Allowable Reimbursement rate. These rates may not necessarily apply if you have a contract with a carrier.

This fee calculator is provided by the TPTA to assist you in determining your Maximum Allowable Reimbursement rate. These rates may not necessarily apply if you have a contract with a carrier.
The formula used to calculate the MAR is provided by the TDI-DWC. The formula is as follows ((Work RVU*budget neutrality)*Work GPCI) + (Practice RVU*Practice GPCI) + (Malpractice RVU*Malpractice GPCI))*DWC conversion factor. The budget neutrality number is 0.8806 and the DCW conversion factor is 52.83.
The RVU and GPCI values used to calculate the MAR were obtained from the TrailBlazer Medicare fee schedule.
Reimbursement for services should be supported by documentation. The TPTA will be working to provide resources on proper documentation.
FCE/Work Conditioning/Work Hardening are reimbursed as specified in §134.203 and §134.204 of the Medical Fee Guidelines.
