Principle 8

A physical therapist shall provide and make available accurate and relevant information to patients/clients about their care and to the public about physical therapy services.

Principle 8 includes recommendations for taking steps to promote the practice of physical therapy and guidelines for the appropriate dissemination of information to both the patient and the public.
