CYNTHIA LACY, MHS, PT, is owner and coordinating consultant for HealthCare Management Resources. She has practiced physical therapy for nineteen years in multiple settings including acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, school, and long term care facilities. Along with actively treating patients, she has served in advanced management positions for the past ten years. Ms. Lacy has provided previous continuing education courses throughout her career, and has been approved by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy to provide one-on-one tutoring for students attempting the physical therapy state board examination. In 1981 she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Allied Health Science, and received her Master of Health Science in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis Krannert Graduate School of Physical Therapy. Ms. Lacy was listed as a member of the International Who's Who of Professionals in 1997. She is currently a member of the Texas Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
